Withdrawal information

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. The text below follows the model withdrawal information and the model withdrawal form of Directive 2011/83/EU (Annex I, parts A and B) for contracts for services.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us ([OPERATOR NAME AND ADDRESS], email: support@hostdc.xyz) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at https://hostdc.xyz/withdraw (also reachable through the topic "Withdrawal" on the contact page and from your account page). If you use this online function, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by email) without delay, stating the content of your withdrawal and the date and time it was received.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

How this works at HostDC

• A subscription contract is concluded with its first payment. Renewals continue the same contract and do not start a new withdrawal period.
• A monthly payment covers 31 days, a quarterly one 92 days, a yearly one 366 days. Add-ons follow the same rule and have their own "Withdraw" button on your account page. When you withdraw, we keep the share for the days already provided and refund the rest: amount paid x unused days / the days the payment covers, rounded down to the cent. A day counts as provided once it has started. Nothing else is deducted, not even payment processing fees.
• Signed in, you can withdraw on your account page and the refund is paid straight away. The subscription ends at once and the account returns to the Free plan.
• One-time support tips are voluntary contributions, not a paid service. If you want one back, use the "Withdraw from contract" button below or the model form on this page and we will look at it.
