HostDC changelog
Everything that changed on the platform, newest first. We call out breaking changes, and a version bump that would change how your bot runs stays opt-in.

- More runtimes. Besides Node.js, Python and Go, the Create bot form now offers TypeScript on Node.js 22, Bun 1.4, Java 21 (JDA), Rust 1.98, .NET 10 (C#) and PHP 8.4. A deploy picks the runtime up from your project files.
- Try Pro free. Free accounts can start a 3-day Pro trial once, without a card, from the pricing page or the account page.
- Reactivation page. Free accounts reactivate weekly on a dedicated page, or with the one-tap link in the reminder email or DM.
- Web address endings. On Pro, a bot's HTTPS address can use one of several domain endings.
- Proxy tab. A bot page has a Proxy tab that shows how the bot reaches Discord.
- Discord commands. On Lite and Pro,
/start,/stop,/restartand/logscontrol your bots from any server or a DM. - .env import. Paste a
.envfile on the Secrets tab to set many variables at once. - Blog and comparison pages. A blog and comparisons with other Discord bot hosts.
- Yearly billing. Lite and Pro can be paid yearly, for less than twelve monthly payments.
- Add-ons. Extra RAM, extra storage or a dedicated proxy on top of Lite or Pro, see pricing.

- Card payment. Lite and Pro are now card subscriptions billed by Stripe. Press Subscribe, pay, and the plan is on your account right away. There's nothing to paste or match by hand. Cancel any time from the billing portal on your account page. Ko-fi memberships are gone.

- New site. A rebuilt landing page, pricing, guides and runtime pages, plus a dashboard with real pool meters, a reactivation countdown and a health card on every bot.
- Onboarding checklist. A card that ticks off each step as you create a bot, add the token, deploy and see the ready line, with a built-in OAuth invite-URL generator.
- Runtime pages for Node.js, Python and Go and for the four supported libraries.
- Custom error pages that link the status page instead of showing raw JSON.
Earlier
- Go 1.23 joined Node.js 20/22 and Python 3.12/3.13 as a supported runtime.
- Referrals: when a friend's first bot runs for 1 hour, you both get +128 MB RAM for 30 days.
- Ko-fi memberships replaced manual plan changes, matched by public ID or by the email you paid with.
